Just a few days after loosing a court case in which McDonald’s claim the owners of a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur called “McCurry” were infringing on their trademark (see previous post) McDonald’s became the target of a similar claim from a company called the Lion’s Tap.
Their franchise business system is as tightly composed as a Bach fugue, their franchisees enjoy considerable success, their employees can be as upwardly mobile within the corporation as their ambitions and abilities allow, many communities benefit from their Ronald McDonald Houses, which allow families to be together with their sick children being treated at a nearby hospitals.
